1.破題: If I could change one important thing about my country, I would definitely choose to decrease the environmental pollution.(紅字的部分請換成你的立論)

2. 個人經驗:When I was a child, I used to go to a creek to catch fish and crabs. However, after the factories were introduced into my neighborhood, everything was changed. I never saw any fish or crabs again. I want to decrease the environmental pollution, because I hope my children can see what I saw in my childhood. I know it'll take a long time and a great sum of money to recover it, but I believe it's worthwhile.

3.反面論證: If I couldn't change the status quo by reducing the environmental pollution, my children would only know the sky is gray and the sea smelly. They might also have a high risk of getting asthma or maybe lung cancer which were proven to be the consequence of the breathing the polluted air.

(1)There are three elements that we need to survive, earth, water and air. However, these three elements are mostly damaged in recent years. We overexploit our land and grow betel nut trees on the mountains. Both of them are main contributors to the landslide which cause many casualties after the heavy rainfall. Also, we dump our trash into the ocean, indirectly killing the fish and poisoning water. Moreover, we emit poisonous materials into the air, but we forget we have to breathe as well. We do so many things to hurt our environment and ourselves.

(2)Therefore, if I could change one important thing about my country, I'd take the action to reduce the environmental pollution. I would make a law against factories emitting poisonous materials into the air and water. I would also encourage people to recycle and reduce the unnecessary waste. By doing these, we cannot only restore our environment to its previous state, but also keep us in good health.
